Basic Steps for Creating a Publisher 2000/2002 "Pack and Go" File
- To start the Pack and Go Wizard, point to Pack and Go on the File menu, then click on Take to a commercial printing service.
- Select a location to save the files.
- Select the option to include fonts and graphics.
- Select only composite for saving (we don't used separations).
When Publisher packs the files, it names and numbers the files and adds a *.puz extension. Then send The WORDPRO:
- Unpack.exe, a program you use to unpack the compressed files.
- Readme.txt, a file that includes instructions on unpacking files.
- packed01.puz, the compressed file that includes the publication, linked graphics, and embedded fonts.
- paced01.pu1, a 1 KB file used by Publisher.
