The WORDPRO offers full-service flat-bed and slide scanning. We can provide you with digital files from your black and white or color originals in any format and resolution you need. Or, if you wish, we can convert scanned text to ASCII code through our OCR software. Text that has been OCR'd can then be read by any word processor or page layout program and is subject to editing and format changes. We can also assist you with specifying proper image resolution or file formats if needed. With any of our scanning equipment, we offer image reversal, monotones, and image enhancement and correction. Of course, the higher the resolution you need, the larger your files will be. We can advise you on appropriate trade-offs between file size, quality and operational speed, so that you can obtain the best value for your money.
